DMC Perle 5 Balls Art 116 are of highly mercerized, non-divisible, lustrous 100% cotton thread. The thread is soft and silky, and does not fluff or kink. It is colourfast and fade resistant. It is known for high quality, strength and sheen and it won’t tangle or snap.

Perle 5 is a supple thread that provides wonderful volume and dimension to needle work projects. Stitching with Perle 5 cotton is equivalent stitching with approximately 5 or 6 strands of stranded cotton.

 Perle 5 Balls are a 10g ball, with approx 45m (49yards) of thread and are washable. Colorfast dyes ensure your work can be washed without fear of the color bleeding. They are made with highly fade resistant dyes so your needlework can be enjoyed for generations to come.
