DMC Light Effects is a line of 36 glistening specialty threads that will add reflective qualities to any needlework or craft project. The gorgeous shades include Precious Metals, Jewels, Antiques, and Pearlescent shades, plus trendy Fluorescents and Glow-in-the-Dark tones. 

 Six-strand divisible thread on an 8.7 yard pull-skein.  Each strand is a size 25.

Light Effects colour numbers correspond to popular DMC cotton Embroidery Floss colors and is colourfast and tarnish resistant.

For the best stitching experience try working with a shorter length of thread.  A 12” length will help to keep the fibres fresh and prevent fraying which can occur when stitching with longer threads.

If your Light Effects thread become twisted while stitching, simply drop the needle and allow the thread to unwind itself.  By keeping the threads straight you will reduce knotting too.
