820 DMC Perle 5 ball x 10 grams

DMC Perle Cotton (Coton Perlé or Pearl Cotton) comes in four sizes – the thickest is #3, next is #5, then #8, and the thinnest is #12.

DMC #5 is roughly equivalent to the full 6 strands of the DMC stranded embroidery floss, and the colour numbers transfer between DMC Stranded Cotton and the Perle Cotton. The colour match can vary a little though.

Care and Washing: DMC Pearl Cotton is mostly colourfast and can usually be washed carefully in warm water without fading.  Please check all threads before use though. Test a small length particularly of the darker colours ie the darker reds, greens and purples.
Please check that the fabric on which the thread was embroidered on is also safe to wash.

Each ball has approx 45 metres of thread (49 yards)
