32 count Belfast Linen

32 count Belfast Linen is a 100% pure linen evenweave fabric. It has similar qualities as Dublin but its finer weave makes it more suitable for delicate designs and for most embroidery techniques.

A fat quarter measures 50cm x half the width of the fabric. The fabric is usually 140cm wide.

The evenweave fabric count is 32 stitches per inch, or 16 count when stitched over 2 threads.  A no.28 Tapestry needle is recommended when stitching on 32 count Linen.

Washing instructions recommend machine wash to 60°C and iron at a high temperature.
