3041 DMC Perle 8 Ball x 10grams

DMC Perle Cotton Balls have a reputation as the most beautiful thread in the world. This luminous cotton thread is highly mercerized and non-divisible. It is soft and silky and ideal for embroidery, needlepoint, hardanger, blackwork, redwork, pulled thread, smocking, applique, crochet, and other types of creative stitchery.

DMC #8 is similar in size to 3 strands of DMC stranded embroidery thread, and the colour numbers transfer between DMC Stranded Cotton and the Perle Cotton. The colour match can vary a little though. Note that not all Stranded range colours are available in perle cotton skeins and balls.

Care and Washing: DMC Pearl Cotton is mostly colourfast and can usually be washed carefully in warm water without fading.  Please check all threads before use though. Test a small length particularly of the darker colours ie the darker reds, greens and purples.
Please check that the fabric on which the thread was embroidered on is also safe to wash.
