The multicolor flower motif of this embroidery was inspired by the Oriental Flowers fabric, printed in days gone by at the Oberkampf Manufactory in Jouy.
This motif comes from the cross stitch large pattern chart evoking the history of the making of Oberkampf’s Toiles de Jouy.

Oriental Flowers Round Box Cross Stitch Kit by Sajou

This kit contains:

  • a 14cm square of 32 count linen fabric, colour off white
  • a card of Retors du Nord embroidery thread with eight colours
  • a cardboard disc and a piece of wadding,
  • a decorative grey Toile de Jouy sticker for the edge of the tin
  • pattern chart with all explanations for mounting
Size of the round box: height 4cm  with a diameter of 7.3cm
The kit is presented in a printed cardboard Sajou box.
Mounting instructions are included in the kit, but you can also find them in Madame Sajou’s Diary
