708 DMC Eco Vita crewel Wool skein is non-divisible and is approximately the same thickness as 3 strands of DMC Mouline Special floss. It is 100% organic, crewel wool embroidery thread that gets its rich colour palette entirely from natural dyes. It is Woolmark Certified – Durable, colourfast, fade and sweat resistant.

DMC Eco Vita Wool is used as a single strand and cannot be divided. It is designed to be used as it is straight from the skein.  Avoid the thread becoming frayed or worn as you stitch by using pieces of thread no longer than approx 30cm.

Eco Vita can be hand washed at 30 degrees. This makes it ideal for visible mending, darning, weaving or embellishing cherished textiles.  It is important to be aware of washing instructions for both the fabric and the thread when laundering.
